About Cindy Edzenga
Cindy Edzenga uses oil paint to study seascapes and waterfalls as well as florals and Portraits. She has been accepted in many juried national art shows and has won awards for her work. After studying illustration in art school and while having a career in textile design, Cindy had the fortunate opportunity to study oil painting with many notable artists which include: Grand Central Atelier with Greg Mortenson, Patrick Byrnes and Justin Wood NY Art Students League with Richard Pionk and Ellen Eagle John P Osborne, and Frank Acurri and many workshops. Now a full-time painter, she paints mostly coastal and waterfall landscapes and florals. In 2017 she traveled and painted all around the U.S. in a travel trailer for eight months. Many plein air paintings and photos of that trip provide much inspiration for her paintings along with visits to N J beaches.
